SEACS has launched its series of handling sessions for its resident members beginning with the topic of “blue & white” on 22 September, to be followed by a handling session on 21 October on “celadons”. The November handling session will be held on November 17 with a focus on Qing monochromes. These sessions give members the opportunity to bring their shards or pieces to pass around and discuss in small groups hosted by  our society’s members. Resident members will receive notices approximately 4-6 weeks before each session as spaces are limited to 12-14 participants. Waiting lists are maintained. If you are a ceramic collector and not yet a SEACS member, this is another reason why you should join the most active collectors group of Southeast Asian ceramics in the region.
