The Southeast Asian Ceramic Society has published catalogues to accompany its exhibitions since its first exhibition in 1971. Since then, it has published not only its own exhibition catalogues, but also additional volumes in honour of its 40th and 50th anniversaries. Members of our society have published additional books with both academic institutions and commercial publishing houses. The link to all these titles is here, together with links for downloading the full text from the National Library of Singapore if available.
During the society’s early years, it followed the practise of other ceramic societies that published translations of important ceramic articles published in Chinese journals. These were discontinued but because the content of some of these pamphlets can still be of use to researchers and historians, these publications are shown here. Some of the articles are also available for downloading but not all (because the society no longer has copies; if you possess a copy of any of the missing documents we would be pleased to receive them to make them available as well to others).
Additionally, we have selected a number of articles previously published by both SEACS members and friends of the Society that remain relevant and which we hope you may find of interest. The link to this page is here.
A number of our publications (and three out-of-print catalogues) are still available from us.
