Field trips (both near and far), museum and studio tours, lectures, exhibitions, handling sessions and volunteer excavation support have all been part of SEACS’ many varied activities throughout the years.

Eligibility

Membership in SEACS is open to all whether you are a resident of Singapore (where SEACS is based) or not. Annual (and Lifetime) membership fees vary according to one’s location as we understand that non-resident members may have limited opportunities to participate in our in-person activities. Nevertheless, many of our offshore members have joined us on our excursions throughout the region, and the majority of our talks are held on ZOOM.

SEACS also offers a limited number of membership wavers to full-time university and graduate students who have a professional interest in ceramics and especially the ceramics of Southeast Asia. Application must be made that includes a copy of the student’s full-time university ID card or other proof of full-time enrolment in an educational programme.
