Tan Shook Fong (or ‘Shook’ as she was known to her many friends) was an active lifetime resident member of SEACS, who also served on our Council from 2006 to 2012, including Vice-President of the society from 2010-2012. She loved to attend our meetings, greeting other members by name and volunteering when she could, as well as participating in several of our field trips to foreign destinations. Her interest in Southeast Asian ceramics was supported by her 20 years serving Singapore as an active docent in the Asian Civilisations Museum, amongst others. She shall be missed by many of us who considered her a good friend.
