Jewel of Muscat to get New Home in Singapore

A spokesman of the museum said: “The museum is scheduled to be opened in the second half of 2011. Before opening the museum, the sails of Jewel of Muscat, will be raised high to receive the guests. The museum will provide another chance to have a look on the Marine Silk Road history through Malacca Strait, as well as Asia ports and cities during the ninth and 19th centuries when explorers discovered the marine routes and touched their corners.”
