SEACS members visiting Cambodia over the next few months may be interested in a new exhibition sponsored by the APSARA National Authority and the Department of Anthropology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. “Angkor and China: Ceramic Roof Tiles Traditions and Maritime Trade Road” (June 3 – December 31, 2025), is being held at the Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum.
“The exhibition aims to highlight the ceramic industry during the Angkor period and its connections with China. It offers a fresh perspective on Angkor’s legacy by exploring cultural, social, and commercial interactions between the two regions. Visitors can attend the exhibition from June 6, 2025, until December 31, 2025, where they will also have the opportunity to view various art objects sourced from excavations, restorations, and conservation efforts within the museum.”
