Three plates found in the Musi River, Sumatra, Indonesia

“A while ago, I was able to acquire three British-made plates found by divers in the Musi River in the City of Palembang on southeast Sumatra in Indonesia.

When I acquired the plates, I thought they were an anomaly and I was wondering if they were from a shipwreck. I didn’t know yet that thousands of archaeological artefacts, among which many were ceramics have been looted from the riverbed…
