Year End Festive Open House
3pm-5pm Sunday, 10 December 2017
Home of Mathew & Patricia Welch
Address to be Advised
Southeast Asian Ceramic Society members and their immediate families are invited to an Open House to meet and mingle with the SEACS Council and fellow members. Come join us for some light refreshments and an array of beverages (both still and bubbly) as we end 2017 and look forward to 2018.
SEACS activities this year have included talks on dehua (blanc-de-chine) ceramics, tomb figurines (mingqi) and a newly discovered Swedish museum with its collection of ceramic treasures; private tours of the Asian Civilisations Museum’s Korean Joseon Exhibition and NUS’ Myanmar Celadon Ceramics Exhibition; a day trip to KL to visit marine archaeologist Sten Sjostrand’s collection; and several pot-handling sessions led by our very knowledgeable collector members. The 2018 season will continue to offer more engaging programs and trips for SEACS members.
