Storage jars, bulbous, with thick rounded mouth rims, short necks, incised rings round the shoulders at the level of the thick lug handles, and dark greyish bodies. No traces of glaze (if originally present) remain. Their condition indicates that these jars were on the deck of the ship and were not as quickly covered with sand that preserved other wares.
